Services We Offer
Regular maintenance hygiene program to provide a solid foundation for the longevity of your teeth. The program consists of regular dental checkup to screen any abnormality and lesions (e.g. oral cancer) inside the oral cavity, cleaning by scaling and polishing to improve soft tissue (gum) and hard tissue (bone that supports the teeth) health, and flouride treatment to prevent cavities.
Once a cavity has developed, filling is the first necessary step to control and repair the tooth. We provide both traditional amalgam (silver) fillings and composite (white or mercury-free) fillings according to patient' choice.
In some circumstances, just a filling is not enough to restore a tooth. For example, when a tooth hurts or is infected, it is very likely that it needs root canal therapy rather than just a filling. RCT involves the removal of the nerve and blood supply to the tooth. These tissues are housed inside the core of the tooth. After these tissues are removed, it is necessary to clean the canal system and fill it up with some biocompatible material.
When a tooth loses a majority of its structure because of cavity, root canal therapy, or fracture etc, a filling is not enough for the tooth. In order for each tooth to withstand the biting force of normal and accidental activities (e.g. biting on a bone of a steak unexpectedly), a crown (also called a cap) is necessary to restore its form and function in these situations.
Treatment that replaces a missing tooth or multiple missing teeth permantly and comfortably.
Partial or complete treatment that replaces a missing tooth or multiple missing teeth permantly or transitionally. This is considered an inferior option to bridges or implants and to some people as uncomfortable or even intolerable option. People choose dentures mostly because of lower costs involved.
